About Marta Denise

Hi, I’m Marta Denise Pickard — author, educator, faith-based coach, and the heart behind Marta Denise Paper Co., a Houston-based brand created to help women and children grow in faith, confidence, and purpose.

I’m the author of the THRIVE Series, including Thrive After Heartbreak and Thrive in the Adjustment Season — faith-centered books written to help professional women heal from toxic relationships, rebuild their identity, and walk boldly in divine purpose.

In addition to my women’s series, I’ve written two collections of children’s books: the Gabbie Books, inspired by the CASEL Social and Emotional Learning Framework, and the Surviving the Thorns Series for middle school readers. Both series teach emotional awareness, empathy, and resilience — guiding children to navigate feelings and friendships through faith-filled lessons.

Through my YouTube channel, “Starting Over with Marta,” I share transparent, faith-based conversations that empower women to heal, grow, and thrive in every season of life.

As a Christian life coach, I offer personalized Faith Strategy Sessions that help women rebuild spiritually, rediscover their purpose, and step confidently into alignment with God’s plan.
